This is an interlocutory appeal from the trial court’s order granting a plea to the jurisdiction. See Tex. Civ. PRAC. & Rem. Code Ann. § 51.014(a)(8) (Vernon Supp. 2006). Appellant Priscilla D. Slade sued both appellee Texas Southern University Board of Regents and an individual regent, William King, for allegedly breaching her employment contract. Slade claimed she was not given a hearing to contest the Board’s decision to terminate her for cause as university president.
