— Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County (Orenstein, J.), rendered July 18, 1988, convicting him of criminal possession *143of a controlled substance in the third degree, assault in the second degree (two counts) and resisting arrest, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review of denial, after a hearing, of that branch of the defendant’s omnibus motion which was to suppress evidence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
