JUSTICE EAKIN.

James Gillespie challenges his conviction under 18 Pa.C.S. § 6105 (persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms). He argues the shotgun he possessed did not fall within the definition of “firearm,” and further *103contends the shotgun was seized as the result of an unlawful search of his residence.
