Appeal from Pattawattamie District Court. — Hon. W. E. Green, Judge. Action at law to recover an amount alleged to be due and payable upon certain certificates of stock in the defendant association. Judgment for plaintiff, and defendant appeals.

The defendant is a building and loan association incorporated under the laws of the state of New York, and the plaintiff is, and during all the time covered *188by the transactions in controversy has been, a resident of Pottawattamie county, Iowa.
