This case involves a dispute over a private driveway between the adjoining residence properties of plaintiffs and defendants in the city of Detroit.

On May 9, 1936, defendants owned certain property having a frontage of 64 feet on Harold street and described as the south 120 feet of lot 218, Ship-man’s subdivision. On that date defendants sold the west 32 feet of said property, together with house thereon, to plaintiffs on a land contract, which contained the following driveway provision:
