This suit was brought by several subcontractors seeking a declaration of their rights to payment by the surety on a general contractor’s performance bond for materials and labor furnished in the construction of additions to three public schools in Knox County, Tennessee. The complainants also sought an adjudication of the amounts due on their claims and a judgment against the parties liable for payment. The named defendants were Wayne W.
