FLAUM, Circuit Judge.
A jury convicted defendants Khadir Gha-' nayem and Christ Theodosopoulos of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1), 846, and 18 U.S.C. § 2. After trial, the district court granted both defendants’ motions for judgment of acquittal pursuant to' Fed.R.Crim.P. 29, concluding that the government had entrapped Ghanayem and had failed to prove that Theodosopoulos was a knowing participant in the conspiracy.
