Introducing Exa Zurich
We're excited to announce our first European office in Zurich, Switzerland, focused on ML research.
This research office is being seeded by former Googlers Max Buckley and Felix Kroner, and will rapidly expand over the coming months.
Why Zurich?
Switzerland, and more specifically Zurich, is one of Europe's fastest-growing AI hubs. It hosts an emerging cluster of companies like Google DeepMind, Nvidia, Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic and others. It also has world-class universities like ETH Zurich and EPFL that are making it a top European AI talent magnet.

Go where the people are
Exa's arrival in Zurich joins a growing list of San Francisco-based AI companies establishing a local presence. For European customers, it means same-timezone support and a team that understands the local market. For researchers, it means the opportunity to work at one of the fastest-growing AI startups in the world without needing to relocate to San Francisco.
As our CEO Will Bryk said, "To assemble the greatest search team in the world you gotta meet them where they are around the world". And many are in Zurich.
