Abstract
The war site of the Battle of Maling is focused on the course of war,and whether Wei ever passed Waihuang town,overran Qi and annexed Ju state,and how Pang Juan died in the narrow pass,and which state did Tan and Ju state belong to before the year 341 BC,and the illogical absence of generals of Qi recorded in history texts from the war,and Prince Shen and his troop annihilated,etc.The writer is hereby to strategically analyze these disputes about the site of war,from the perspective of the attempt and aim of war,the course of war,the tactics of Sun Tzu and Sun Bin and the strategic application of geographical and tactical terrain,hemce the conclusion can be made that the war site of Mading is in Tan County.
