Chess-Based Interventions for People with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs: A Systematic Review

This systematic review examines the available scientific evidence on chess-based interventions in people with disabilities and/or special educational needs. The review focuses on the potential effects of these interventions across cognitive and executive functioning, academic, behavioral and clinical outcomes, as well as chess-related learning or performance. It also examines the methodological characteristics and quality of the available evidence.
