On Lvnan's Thought of Learning Gongfu

Lv Nan(1479-1542),a famous Neo-confucianism scholar in Guanzhong Plain in Ming Dynasty.He inherits the style of study of Hedong School,considering Cheng-Zhu Neo-confucianism to be legitimacy,advocating Gongfu of self-culturing through learning,which include two levels: Gongfu of learning from Confucian Sutra,uniting Keju and moral culturing,which embodiments the idea of Saint inside and Monarch outside of Confucianism.Gongfu of learning in human activities,which connects everyday activities and moral culturing,and inherits Song-Confucianism's idea about Ti(ontology) and Yong(function).Though the Gongfu of self-culturing through learning failed to defeat Xinxue school in the middle of Ming Dynasty,it rectified Xinxue school in its later period.
