Abstract

The functions of Zonglingsuo in the Southern Song Dynasty consist of logistic service for the military forces stationed in Chuan-Shan Region,inspection of military affairs and control of military financial affairs to break up the power of the generals,recommendation and impeachment of local officials,relief of victims of famine and other disasters and payment of expenditures outside of the Zonglingsuo.
