Comparative Analysis of Time and Cost of Sandwich Panel Installation Method Using Mini Crane and Tower Crane at Jabodebek Light Rail Transit Station Project

Abstract

The Light Rail Transit Jabodebek (LRT) is a national strategic project that aims to reduce and unravel congestion on the Jakarta -Cikampek toll road and the Jagorawi toll road. One of the important and on going jobs is installation work sandwich panel. Seeing the conditions of the existin g construction sites that cross toll roads and main roads in Jakarta, it is necessary to choose the right method so that the implementation is effective. Th e method used is a quantitative method by analyzing time and costs, and distributing questionnaires to respondents who are employees of PT. Adhi Karya Tbk. In the Jabodebek LRT Station construction project, t h e questionnaire data analysis was carried out using the SPSS application. The results showed the productivity of the method was mini crane able to install 8 panels / day at a cost of Rp. 617,791,950 and the method wa s t o wer crane able to install 10 panels / day at a cost of Rp. 929,046,158.40, Based on validation by experts, the method mini crane is an effective choice compared to the method tower crane. This is due to the lower cost and productivity of the method mini crane which can be optimized to complete work according to schedule.
