P‐14.25: Effects of Screen Modulation on Eye protection

Abstract

The eye protection effect of PWM modulation and DC modulation have been researched in this work, at 50nit and 3240Hz PWM. The results show that 3240Hz PWM is slightly better than DC at 50nit. In terms of Photobiological effects, PWM is better. As for the impact of human eye imaging quality, DC is preferable.
