Abstract

Grid-connected EV cabin preheating is used to extend driving ranges in cold climate. • Experimental study with 51 preheating sessions of five typical EV models. • Multiple linear regression models for energy use for EV cabin preheating. • EV preheating energy loads are analysed with apartments loads during the winter. • EV cabin preheating data are available for load simulations and forecasting.
