Abstract
Due to its steady and strong growth, studying consumer behavior in the charter sector is essential. As more individuals and families choose to use charter services for their vacations and leisure pursuits, it is crucial for charter businesses to comprehend the factors that influence their decisions and desires. An empirical research conducted in a charter company in the Kvarner area shed a light on consumer preferences and motivations, highlighting the importance of individualized service, feedback from other customers on consumers perceptions and choices, factors beyond one's control and common elements affecting customer behavior include cost, the aesthetic appeal of the commodities, and the motive for the purchase. By using effective market segmentation strategies and adapting their services to shifting consumer trends, charter firms are able to tailor their offerings to meet a wide variety of customer expectations. To achieve sustainability and competitiveness in a dynamic market, strategic initiatives that suit the changing requirements of the charter industry must be guided by a detailed analysis of the customer.
