Great. Good morning, everyone. 10:07 AM on my Bacaro Jewelers watch. This beautiful, what is it? Tuesday, Bulldog, October 13th, year of our Lord 2026, here in the great Northeast, and I suspect some other places as well. This is the Bob Cordaro Show. I am he, and it's a big day to fight for America, defend our values, and honor, with the help of our man, John Basiliga, and his great Serenity Care personal care community, the brave who have made us and kept us free. People like veterans we've lost this year, but celebrate today thanks to John. Like Charles Chuck Hughes of Readers, Larry Dildine of Bloomsburg, Ellis Morg- Ellis Morgan Booth of Peckville, and Steven Hurst. He's from Sunbury. So with history, our amazing founding fathers, who we will not allow to be canceled, and the incomparable Constitution of the United States of America as our guides, let us continue today's battle. [gavel bangs] Gaveling back to order after that brief news adjournment, today's meeting of the Club for Common Sense promising that our deep and unalterable commitment to common sense will provide a sanctuary of sanity for all of you who hearken here, and the key word is hearken. Remember that. Uh, so recently, and he'll tell us exactly when, a guy named Robert Lingle... He's just Robert, though. He goes by Robert. He joined Lisa on the morning show at KRZ, and he's a cool guy, and I said, "We gotta have you on to talk about how all of this happened." Uh, Robert, welcome to the Bob Cordaro Show.
Thank you for having me.
So you do the morning deal.
I do, yeah.
H- h- uh, let me ask this question. I always think about this morning deal. [laughs] I spent some time in prison, and, uh, getting up at 4:00 in the morning would be like prison again. [laughs]
[laughs]
Do you do this every day and you're okay with it?
Yeah, it's fine. I've- if I have a responsibility, I make sure that I'm waking up on the proper time when I need to be there-
Yeah
... 'cause I'm pretty responsible.
Okay.
So.
And, and, but i- is this n- is this a new thing for you, to do a morning show?
Yes and no. Yes, yes, as of recently, it is a new thing for this new schedule. It's like waking up in the middle of the night and getting to work super early in the mornings.
[laughs]
I've worked in radio for a while. I worked afternoons. That was at my last station. But before that, I did work morning shift at a different radio station.
Neat. All right, so let's give us a little, uh, a synopsis of your life story. You're an area native.
I am, yep. I grew up in Clarks Summit. I went to Abington, so I gr- that's where I graduated from.
Yeah, yeah.
And then after I graduated, I moved out to California. I was out in Sacramento.
Now, you, you were friends with s- a, a, a girl on the internet, and y- you both decided to go there, or was she there first, and you said, "I'm going to Sacramento"?
Yeah, so I met her online, and we just stayed friends throughout all of high school, but then we kinda admitted, like, "Oh, I like you." "Oh, I like you, too." And then senior year of high school, she flew out here to Scranton, and we spent a week together, and that's when I'm like, "You know
