Hey, it's Ashanti Plummer from Foot Around and Find Out. Coming out of the draft, it's been a special time for us here at Foot Around. I want to thank everyone from the fans to the sponsors, especially Geico, not just for supporting AZ, but for showing up where it matters, like the Business of Women's Sports Summit. That kind of thing really moves the needle. And now that AZ is starting a new life in Dallas, we don't know what next season is going to bring, but we know that we're all on the same team. And it's been amazing to feel the love and support. So keep showing up for our girl. Show up for each other. Thanks to Geico and our listeners.

welcome to the best of the week for what's right with nick wright the best takes and moments from this week on the show enjoy all right let's talk chargers bills

D
Demonte2:30

uh so uh herbert and the chargers who are not contenders head to josh allen and the bills who are contenders so if the chargers go there and beat buffalo by logic are they then contenders

NW
Nick Wright2:43

So, listen, no, but I do. It would not. It would. They keep their season alive by beating them. They don't once again become contenders by beating them. And by the way, given how shaky Buffalo's defense has looked, I think it's on the board the Chargers win. There's a lot of... It's certainly on the board the Bills are just a wagon offensively and roll them. Like, that is definitely on the board. That's probably the most likely outcome. But... A totally desperate 0-2 team against a riding, pardon the phrase, high on the hog 2-0 team

Episode notes

Nick goes off on the media continuing to make excuses for Justin Herbert and shares why he believes Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers' season is over after just two weeks of the NFL season. Next, Nick reacts to bizarre string of events surrounding Caleb Williams hamstring injury in the Chicago Bears' Week 2 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Nick breaks down why anyone questioning Caleb's toughness is wrong, but also why his reaction to a minor injury is "unique."
