2 turns · 1 minLet's get a weather forecast for the weekend. Mark Bow is at Met Eireann. Morning, Mark.
Thank you. Good morning. Well, it's certainly very wet and damp out there at the moment. We've got plenty of cloud and rain pushing across Leinster and Munster. But the good news is that should push away later on this morning. A northwesterly flow will kind of move over the country. That'll clear away much of that rain, but it'll replace it with a mixture of sunshine and showers and some very strong winds as well, particularly across Connacht and Ulster. The winds around there will be quite strong indeed for a time today. Temperatures today roughly around eleven to perhaps fourteen or fifteen degrees. Then going into tomorrow, Saturday, we'll see more of an improvement. It's gonna be a mixture of sunshine and showers again, but this time there'll be a lot of dry weather, especially around the south and east, with the wind starting to ease as well, and highs similar of around fourteen or fifteen degrees. Now reliably, of course, it takes a bit of a turn on Sunday. We're gonna see rain pushing up from the south together with some blustery winds. We'll see plenty of cloud elsewhere in the country as well, with some outbreaks of rain in there too, but temperatures still roughly, like I said, around fourteen or fifteen degrees. Now, it is gonna stay unsettled in- going into next week as well, but don't worry because the cold weather is still a good bit off just yet. Have a good morning, everybody.
