Welcome to the Jazz Notes Podcast. I'm Ben Anderson. I'm Chandler Holtz. We are recording this, a special second episode of the week. On June 18th, we are now five days away from the NBA draft. We are basically here. This will be, barring breaking news, something huge, our last podcast before the draft. Yes. Now, I'm flying down to New York on Saturday. If... Something crazy happens. Jazz get involved in a trade. News breaks. Someone's not doing something. Someone is doing something. I think there's a chance we will record another one before Tuesday, but I'm not betting on it. That's not the plan right now, but we are certainly available in case something does happen. There is going to be full coverage of the draft on 97.5, the KSL SportsZone, a full live show. I'm not going to be here again. I'll be in New York, but I will be doing call-ins and stuff, so you can hear me there. Chandler's going to be down at the Jazz practice facility. So there's going to be full coverage as well as at kslsports.com, social media, my Instagram. Everything. At Ben's Hoops, yeah, my Twitter, Chandler's Twitter, at Seaholt Sports, KSL Sports, social media, everywhere. So there's going to be a ton of coverage in person, wherever. And then we are going to do another podcast the night of. The draft. Tuesday night. Tuesday night. Probably kind of late, but. It'll be late. Yeah. I mean, it's going to be really late on the East Coast. It will be less late in the West, but it's going to be a later episode. So if you want to stay up, you can listen. If you want to wait until Wednesday morning, there will be a recap of what happened and kind of our thoughts on what exactly happened. With Utah Jazz. So, with that in mind, before we get into the draft and the mailbag, because we did ask for more mailbag questions today, let's talk a little bit about the Walker-Kessler saga that escalated seemingly extremely quickly. There was some really bad reporting, I thought, done right after. Agreed. And then kind of got put an end to yesterday. Yeah. And not done by any means. There's still a lot to get done here, but... Walker really resolved a lot. So it started with Sam Amick's article at The Athletic that, oh, Walker Kessler's not happy with what's happened. He's frustrated with the process. By the way, this was true all of last year. He was frustrated he didn't get a contract during the offseason last year. And then he was frustrated about the injury. He said he did think about the contract as soon as he got hurt. He didn't really talk to us a whole lot. We talked to him once during the season after the injury. We talked to him once right after the injury and then another time later in the year. And he kind of just said, I'm
