[upbeat music] Welcome into the Jazz Notes podcast. My name is Chandler Holt, Utah Jazz insider at KSL Sports, recording this on May 25th, 2026, Memorial Day. As you can tell, riding solo today. Ben is taking a well-deserved day off, but figured I would still hop in here on this Monday. Building's empty, but came in so I could answer some of your Jazz questions as we are officially less than a month away from the first round of the NBA draft, which is June 23rd, of course, in Brooklyn. Uh, Ben will be there on the day of the draft, uh, so we'll have all sorts of coverage for you, both digitally, social media, et cetera. I don't think there's really any news and notes. Something of note, though, is I think right now is when players will start to be coming into Salt Lake for some pre-draft workouts and interviews. Of course, the combine is officially wrapped up. All the measurements, all the drills are over, and now players will start sort of filtering in, uh, to the Utah Jazz building to, uh, give their first looks. I imagine only three, maybe four people. Of course, we, we have a question about Caleb Wilson. We'll get into him in a second. Uh, will be coming in to work out with the Jazz. Um, I think that's about it for news and notes. Uh, like I mentioned, we're going to get straight into the mailbag today. That's gonna be it for today. Over the next three to four weeks, I think there's four more episodes before, uh, the NBA draft, maybe only three, but for sure, three episodes are going to be a deeper dive into Cam Boozer, AJ Dabanja, and Darren Peterson as projec- uh, as prospects. Of course, their fit with the Jazz. Uh, Ben and I already did sort of some opening, um, looking into them as prospects and their, their, uh, lone college years. Uh, but of course, now that the Jazz sit at the number two overall pick in the draft, we will dive a little bit deeper and do one episode for each of the top three guys. Um, I think we won't do a Caleb Wilson. We opted to just sort of talk about the combine last week instead of diving into Caleb Wilson. But, uh, yeah, so that's the plan. Uh, let's start. Let's just get right into these mailbag questions, starting off on Blue Sky, a question from Nice Joe Green. "Early mailbag question for you. Knowing that they'll add one of AJ, Darren, or Cam, how does this current Jazz squad stack up against other recent teams that have exited their rebuilds, most notably Oklahoma City and San Antonio, but also the Magic, Pistons, et cetera?" So this is a speculation question, of course. It's hard to really say because whereas, uh, we can look right now and see that both Oklahoma City and San Antonio are battling it out, um, in the Western Conference Finals. Of course,
