[upbeat music] Welcome in to the Jazz Notes podcast. I'm Ben Anderson.
I'm Chandler Holtz.
We are recording this on May 5th, Cinco de Mayo. It is the last podcast before the lottery, so it's a, uh, big one here. Uh, we're gonna talk about a couple players, Cam Boozer and Caleb Wilson. Uh, we're also gonna talk about the-- we're gonna kind of preview the, uh, the, uh, draft combine that starts on Sunday as well with the lottery. We're not gonna get too deep into it.
Yeah.
We'll, we'll probably reflect on that a little bit more two weeks from now. But, uh, just a heads-up, a programming note, A, apologies for not recording yesterday, that was my fault. Uh, but we are gonna be doing a live show, Chandler and I, on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to at least 2:00 p.m.-
Yes
... on 97.5, the KSL Sports Zone. So where you can usually hear me weekdays, 1:00 to 2:00 we are for sure going to be live because that is when the NBA draft lottery is.
Yep.
So we will talk you through that and kind of preview it, immediate reactions, what it means for the Jazz wherever they land. You can catch that. If they go top four, maybe we go a little bit longer. We'll see if the Jazz have any availability, uh, and we'd try to carry that. And then we will do another podcast after.
Yes.
So if you wanna listen live, I encourage you to listen live. We'll have it on 97.5, the KSL Sports Zone. But Sunday night there will be a podcast out available to you, but we are not gonna record on Monday barring, like, maybe if the Jazz win the number one pick, maybe there's a reason to do both, or if there's some major piece of news in between. I can't imagine there would be. But, uh, we will have live coverage and a podcast on Sunday both.
Yes. Um, if you follow me and Ben anywhere, BensHoops and CHoltSports, you will get all sorts of updates about this. Uh, we will probably tweet it out, the link. Um, and then also, like you mentioned, live on radio, 1:00 to 2:00, maybe 2:30, and then right after a podcast, and that will go up as usual, all podcast platforms, on YouTube. And I think as well we're also going to do an X live for the podcoast- uh, for the podcast on Sunday, so it'll be sort of like a live Jazz Notes podcast.
You should be able to find it.
Yes.
[laughs] Find us on social media at BensHoops and CHoltSports. Maybe you're just tuning in because you're interested in the lottery, and this is your first time listening to the podcast. If so, welcome. But B, yes, that's the best way to interact with us. And it's really all social media. I'm on Twitter, Instagram, Blue Sky more than Threads, but, uh, you can always reach out to me. And again, I apologize. I checked my hidden messages on my hidden DMs, which, you know, are filtered
