My day kicks off with a refreshing Celsius energy drink, then straight to the gym. Pre-K pickup, back home to meal prep. Time for my fire station shift. One more Celsius, gotta keep the lights on. When the three alarm hits, I'm ready. Celsius. Live. Fit. Go. Grab a cold, refreshing Celsius at your local retailer or locate now at Celsius.com.

Welcome into the Jazz Notes podcast. I'm Ben Anderson, rolling solo today. Chandler will be back with us next week, and I think we will be recording on Tuesday. We are recording this, though, today. It's the first podcast of August, August 3rd. Hope everybody's doing well. Just a heads up, we have entered the absolute dead season of the NBA. August is usually the most barren wasteland that there is. and outside of the Kawhi Leonard drama, there is not really a lot going on in the NBA. A couple of final signings here and there, players just trying to find their landing spots, and some of that may come as we get much closer to training camp opening, which is late September. There'll be media day. We still have not seen the Utah Jazz's schedule come out, so there's a couple of little things here and there to wait on, but ultimately, I do think it's going to dry up for a little bit here. College football's starting. The NFL has a You know, preseason game this week. So I think that's where a lot of attention is going to be. But of course, we will still be talking the Utah Jazz. As I mentioned, Chandler is out today. Therefore, I think our opening segment will not be particularly long. There was not any news with the Utah Jazz over the last week. Other than Ryan Smith continues to leak some images. I don't even think leak is the appropriate word. He owns the building. has shared some images of the building at Delta Center getting ready to be unveiled. Again, the second step of this reconstruction is underway. There's about 50 days until I think the Mammoth have to be back there for their first preseason game. So if you haven't seen those, we had an article up at kslsports.com. You can go check it out there or on our Instagram page at kslsports. And honestly, it just looks like a construction zone. Like it's amazing that they're going to be able to get more done in the next 50 days or get enough done in the next 50 days to have ice out there. And then not long after have the jazz out there ready to play. But that is a, that is the goal for the jazz. And of course for Ryan Smith and they've always hit that deadline. So I'm sure they will be ready to go as well. So we will get into your mailbag questions. Um, again there's just not even a ton of mailbag questions i understand jazz fans taking a little bit of a break and there's not uh not a lot that has changed since the last time we talked but we will continue to bring you podcasts so let's start with the mailbag i hate to get right into it and wish there was kind of a little bit more to talk about but without chandler and uh with the slow season i think we will get to a point where we start to uh start to break down a little bit more of what's coming up in the 27, 28, or 26, 27 season for the Jazz. And that will certainly come, but I'm not sure today necessarily
