And of course, we are leading with the Tel Aviv flight diverted to Saudi Arabia after a pilot stabbed the other and tried to crash the plane before being subdued when other passengers broke into the cockpit. Luckily, there was another crew on board to land the plane. Dominic Carter here with you. We'll be taking your phone calls this hour, 800-848-9222. But first, we're going to start with a guest. And I want you to imagine this. I want you to imagine this. So the plane carrying roughly 150 people plunging, plunging, dropping from 34,000 feet all the way down to 14,000 feet in a matter of 30 seconds. Here's what it sounded like to some of the passengers. America, I want you to think about this. Whenever you're aboard an aircraft and it drops just a foot or two, how you almost feel like your heart stopping. So imagine an aircraft dropping that many thousand of feet. We're going to deal with that. We're also going to talk about Mom Dani's big loss as it relates to his tax on second homes for the wealthy. But I am starting this hour with a guest. And our guest joining us right now is someone I've been wanting to talk to on air for a while. I've seen him in passing, but I really wanted to get him on the air. And that is Assemblyman Lester Chang. And he's particularly interesting in terms of, one, he's one of the few Republican Assembly members from New York City. And he has a lot to say and he's fighting a good fight. So Assemblyman, before I get to the general public, I want to deal with you for the first 12 minutes or so for the program. How are you today, sir?

Oh, well, thank you. That's very nice of you to say. So you fight the good fights. That's what I like about you. That's number one. That's number one. So I'm going to be all over the place for a few minutes here. So one, you are behind an effort to formally commemorate October 7th, the terror attack in Israel, as something that should be done every year in the state of New York, in America, but in particular the state of New York. Correct? And why are you behind this?

LC
Lester Chang4:04

That's correct. Because there's something in my heart that we should memorialize that, not celebrate, but memorialize that so many people were killed. As I look upon as 9-11, so many people were killed during that tragic World Trade Center and happened to be right now in Israel with this fly Dubai. And just a simple thought of remembering. I did not realize that my colleagues, the Democrat colleagues, were so much against this passing because my name is an R, means
