political announcement. Albany keeps making promises. Here, the bills keep going up. Thomas Sullivan isn't a politician. He's a neighbor, a colonel who led soldiers overseas, a business owner who made payroll at home. Thomas spent his life serving us, not politicians. In Albany, he'll fight to lower taxes, protect our streets, and make this a place families can afford to stay. From Ozone Park to the Rockaways, Thomas shows up, not just at election time. Thomas Sullivan for Assembly District 23. He served us then. He'll fight for us now.

Hello. It's Friday. Joel Osteen once said people are 10% happier on Friday. Everything seems a little bit lighter. You know what I did? Thanks to, well, God and the Bible, I was able to kind of shed myself of those artificial excuses and permission slips, when to be happy, when to be joyous, when to be stressed, when to be unhappy, when to be glum. Right? There's, you know, Monday morning you're supposed to be, oh, Sunday night's terrible, all that stuff, right? There's kind of a pattern, a pattern that we all kind of follow. And I noticed that after I started reading the Bible, that stuff just didn't apply. I can be just as excited on Sunday night as I am on Friday night. And quite frankly, it doesn't really matter. It just doesn't matter. The constrictions of the world, I'm not saying they totally evaporate, but you're just not as subject to them. And it's a beautiful thing. I just talked to a bunch of college kids. They came in and, you know what I mean, they want to be broadcasters, this, that, and the other thing. And we shoot the breeze for a little bit. And then they leave. And before they I said, oh, gosh, I forgot the most important thing. Come back here. Come back here. And they all come back. And I told them real quick my story of faith, how I came to know God better than I used to. And it was through the Bible. I briefly explained my previous life. And I think they you never know. But I'm never going to pass up that opportunity really with anybody, but especially young people. young people. Like when I was in college, you know, I was worried about all the wrong, stupid things. And I got all worked up about dumb things and, you know, insisted on living life on my terms and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, all the things that you're supposed to do that the world says is fine. And, um, you know, it was just way too, well, everything's beautiful. Everything worked. But, um, I told them, I wish I had started reading the Bible when I was

your age, reading it seriously and walking with God, at least trying to, you know, uh, because it would have saved me a lot of heartache. And then I explained to them also that I used to think that, you know, the Bible and all that religion stuff is kind of designed to keep me from having a good time. And no, it's designed to
