Scott, thanks for having me.
It's awesome having you here. And to help our listeners get up to speed, please give us the 90-second highlight reel of how your career ignited and where you're pouring your fuel now.

We connected with some people at BNB Investor Academy and quickly turned to other areas to where we could increase the cash flow and increase the equity. Uh, and then that took us right to Savannah. Right now we are, uh, very successful with our short-term rental and, uh, looking to expand past and outside of Savannah.

Josh Schumann and his wife Hannah launched Mossy Tides Retreat, a luxury short-term rental near Savannah, Georgia, and he joins host Scott Bursey to explain why they built it as a guest experience rather than just a place to stay. He covers how they found contractors and a cleaning team from a remote location, why Bloomington, Illinois is on his list for the next property, and how higher interest rates push them toward creative lending, DSCR loans and forced appreciation. He also shares how he balances a W-2 job and family with a growing portfolio, and why anyone curious about short-term rentals should dig in.
