Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim. Allahu waliyyu allatheena amanu yukhrijuhum mina ath-thulumati ila an-nur. Wallatheena kafaroo awliyauhum ath-thagut yukhrijoonahum mina an-nuri ila ath-thulumat. Ulaika ashabu an-nar hum feeha khalidoon. Allah ta'ala says, "Indeed, We have given you every single thing you could have asked for." Imagine as us in our state of the ruh, being a soul coming into this world. We need some sort of existence. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us existence. We would need a body to function. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us a body. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knew that a body needs functioning capacities. So there are many that Allah ta'ala granted a body, but tested with their capacities. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us mult- uh, the ability to function at varying levels. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us our aql, our ability to understand, our ability to rationalize concepts. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us the ability to understand softness. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us the ability to understand bitterness. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us the ability to know what is right. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us the foresight to be able to see what is wrong. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted us all that we could have asked for. As a soul coming into this world, there may be many worries of how I will traverse this difficulty or how I will walk this path. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted it to us without even asking. Wa atakum min kulli ma sa-altumuh. Whatever you could have asked for, Allah ta'ala granted you that. You did not need to ask for it. Allah ta'ala still gave it to you. How many times do we find individuals who are blessed with such generosity? However, in order to access their generosity, all you have to do is say a few words. You might have to ask. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is that generous Lord that you don't need to ask. You don't need to say the word. Allah ta'ala will give it to you. That is why Allah ta'ala says, "Wa in ta'uddu ni'matallahi la tuhsuha." If you were to begin to start counting Allah ta'ala's blessings, think about every single thing He has given you, from the small things to the big things, from our, uh, jobs to our families, to our degrees, our education, to the smallest things like the clothing we wear, to our different fragrances that we put on, our colognes, uh, to our shoes, uh, to our, uh, uh, our different hobbies. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has blessed us with all of that. "Innal insana la zaloomun
