Yeah. So I started, you know, I started working pretty young. I was 14 and was eager to get out there, pushed the limits to what the state would allow me to work as far as hours 16, wrapped up high school, started going out and doing other things, got an emergency services and did EMS, law enforcement, a couple other things for a while. And then I found I wasn't I wasn't ideal for that. I wasn't the person I wanted to be and I wasn't going to be able to be a good father and husband just because I just was wrapped up in that whole world. And so coming out of that and trying to figure out what was next for me, this is around 2000. ish 2002, my mother in law said, why don't you do real estate for a while while you figure out where you're going back to school, what you're going to do, whatever. And that was supposed to be a one year plan. And that was so 20, however many years ago, that one year plan is still here. 2Episode notes

In this episode, Rajeev Sajja sits down with Matthew Rathbun, Executive Vice President of Coldwell Banker Elite, to discuss how agents can move beyond experimenting with AI and begin integrating it into every part of their business. As both a producing agent and brokerage leader, Matthew shares practical strategies for using AI to improve productivity, strengthen decision-making, and create better client experiences.

Matthew explains how he relies on AI in three distinct roles: as a thought partner to challenge ideas, an augmenter to improve the quality of his work, and a coach to help prioritize tasks, manage information, and stay focused throughout the day. He also shares how voice conversations with AI have become his primary way of working, making AI a natural extension of his daily workflow rather than just another software tool.

The conversation explores practical AI workflows for creating listing marketing, producing video content, developing educational materials, writing company policies, and generating hyperlocal content that builds trust with consumers. Matthew also shares several of his favorite AI tools and explains why building repeatable workflows is far more valuable than chasing the latest AI app.

Rajeev and Matthew also discuss the importance of curiosity, continuous learning, and looking beyond the real estate industry for ideas that can be adapted
