[upbeat music] How AI is reinventing the modern brokerage isn't about adding more software, it's about creating a better experience for your agents. Welcome to "Real Estate AI Flash." I'm your host, Rajiv Saja. In this episode, I sit down with Tyler Morton, broker owner of RE/MAX Victory and Affiliates, to discuss how he built Tori OS, an AI-powered operating system that brings together agent support, training, recruiting, communication, and brokerage resources into one seamless platform. We also explore how AI is changing the way agents work, why reducing friction matters more than adding features, and what the AI-powered brokerage of the future could look like. If you're looking for a practical idea to help you and your agents save time, simplify technology, and stay ahead of what's coming next, you'll enjoy this conversation. Let's dig in with Tyler. Welcome to "Real Estate AI Flash," episode 135, and hopefully people are having a great summer. We have a great guest for you today. We have Tyler Morton, broker owner from Beaver Creek, Ohio, with RE/MAX Victory and Affiliates. And what I enjoy about getting Tyler on the podcast, and we've been sort of connected back and forth, and he's a practicing agent, support broker owner, as well as he got tired of brokerage tech stacks not being embraced, and he leveraged AI to build something fun that I'm sure we'll get into. Tyler, welcome to the show.
Thank you so much for having me.
Yeah. Yeah. So, um, I gave you, like, an elevator pitch introduction, so I'd love for you to sort of walk us through. You've been in real estate for 20-plus years. How did you get into real estate? And bring us to today.
Got into real estate, uh, back in 2004. Um, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. Got back from Ohio State after, uh, a couple semesters there and, uh, went and sold cars and decided that wasn't for me after going through about six managers in three months. Uh, made great money as a, a young adult, uh, too much money, to be honest, but, um, wanted something that I could do long term and kind of make my own hours. So, uh, I had gone to a real estate seminar with my dad, uh, who was looking for a retirement job, and, uh, I ended up being the one getting my license. So, uh, story kind of wrote itself from there. I practiced real estate for about three years and did really well, but, um, [lips smack] ended up opening a brokerage and bought my franchise in 2006 and opened in 2007. So here we are.
Oh, wow. And so RE/MAX Victory and Affiliates, how, how many agents, how many offices? Talk through that.
Yeah, just under 200 agents. Um, and we are tri-state, so we are Dayton... Basically central Ohio to central Kentucky and the southeast corner of Indiana.
Oh, okay. And how many offices?
I've got f- uh, four offices in Ohio, one in Indiana, and three in Kentucky.
Wow, okay. All right. So, um, a pretty decent size for operations, agent support, and all of those things. So, so prior to my current role at Bright MLS, I was with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in the Greater Philadelphia area, um, doing marketing tech and, and then, you know, with AI in 2022, it just sort of, my career sort of went, you could say
2Episode notes
In this episode, Tyler Morton, broker-owner of RE/MAX Victory and Affiliates joins the show to discuss how AI is transforming both the agent experience and the brokerage business. Tyler shares his journey from early AI experimentation to building Tory OS, an AI-powered operating system designed to simplify brokerage technology, reduce friction, and give agents a single place to access the tools and information they need.
We explore how his agents are using AI beyond listing descriptions and social media, including analyzing MLS data, identifying high-opportunity farming areas, automating marketing workflows, and conducting deeper market research. Tyler also explains why he believes the future of AI isn't about replacing agents, but proactively helping them make better decisions, eliminate repetitive tasks, and spend more time serving clients.
We also discuss the rapid evolution of AI assistants, the future of CRMs, browser-based AI automation, and why every brokerage should rethink its technology stack instead of simply adding more software. Tyler offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Tory OS evolved from a simple AI knowledge base into a central operating system that improves communication, training, recruiting, and agent support.
