I just want to come back to our top story now involving Connor, who is the 26-year-old autistic man who was bashed by this group of youth offenders. So we do have the formal statement from police. And as I said to you, it was my belief that this was a series of violent incidents. So... Police have arrested five teens following a series of incidents in Melbourne's northern suburbs on October 5. It's alleged a group of six offenders attempted to carjack a vehicle on McDonald's Road in Epping at 7pm. The vehicle was able to drive away. PSOs located and arrested one teen, a 15-year-old boy, from the Port Phillip area at the South Morang Bus Exchange. It's alleged, and this is terrible, it's alleged a 23-year-old female victim from Kew got on a train at Eltham where she was assaulted by around eight offenders. They allegedly took her belongings before getting off at Rosanna. And during the third incident, the 26-year-old male, that's our Connor, from Briar Hill when he was allegedly assaulted by a group around 8.40. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The group fled and was later found at a shopping centre in Preston with the assistance of the Dog Squad. Four offenders were taken into custody. A 13-year-old girl from Geelong was taken to hospital with a dog bite sustained during her arrest and is yet to be interviewed. 14-year-old girl from Banyule, 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy from Geelong have since been released pending further inquiries. Let's wait and see what happens with them. So, sorry, let's go again. 13-year-old girl with a dog bite yet to be interviewed. 14-year-old girl from Banyule. 16-year-old girl from Geelong. 17-year-old boy from Geelong released, pending further inquiries.
