Hello, everyone. This is OmniTalk Retail. I'm Chris Walton, and you are listening to the Retail Daily Minute, your quickest, fastest breakdown of all the day's top retail news. Today's podcast is brought to you once again with the help and support of R&S Logistics. Are you looking for a fulfillment and distribution partner? That's just right. Well, RNS Logistics is small enough to provide custom solutions and that personal touch, while also still boasting 2 million square feet across 10 locations in the Southeast. With technology that can scale your growing e-commerce operations, visit rswarehousingsolutions.com and get your quote today. And I'm also pleased to introduce Zenline AI, because you have likely heard about AI agents a thousand times this year, but are also probably wondering what they can do for you as a retailer. Visit tryzenline.ai to book a call and see how agents can bring you more margin. Content never sleeps. It's the Wednesday following Labor Day, and this morning we've got news on Walgreens' new in-store advertising screens, as well as on Target's latest round of AI-powered app features. But we begin today... with Skims move into on-demand delivery via a partnership announced yesterday with DoorDash that brings the shapewear and loungewear brand's full U.S. store footprint onto the platform. Yes, that's right. Skims, a shapewear and loungewear brand, is partnering with a company who got its reputation on restaurant delivery. DoorDash has spent the last several years building out retail categories well beyond restaurants, apparel, beauty, electronics, and landing a brand with the cultural pull of Skims as a flagship apparel partner is a meaningful data point in that expansion, no doubt. For Skims, it's a way to monetize its 17-store footprint as more than just showrooms without having to build its own delivery infrastructure. The open question, as always with these on-demand fashion plays, is whether shapewear and loungewear are actually impulse, need it now categories the way dinner is, or whether this ends up being more of a marketing headline than a meaningful new revenue channel, or if that question, when you think about it, even matters, as DoorDash continues to build up a very strong rival to Amazon's marketplace. We'll be watching closely here at OmniTalk to find out.

All right, we are back, and our next story takes us into retail media, where Walgreens is rolling out in-store advertising screens from vendor Luma to 1,200 locations by early 2027. The screens will let CPG brand partners deliver promotional messages at the point of decision, and the content itself is produced by a network of independent filmmakers and editors Luma contracts with. Walgreens frames this as part of a broader retail media build-out. It's been running its Walgreens advertising group network since 2020 and recently partnered with LiveRamp to sharpen first-party data measurement across channels. What's notable is that Walgreens isn't alone here. Both
