Not like it used to be 2 times in a row that we are sick after eating ..
I went here before COVID as a backup to my usual place. That place closed as COVID came to an end and as has been the case virtually all Chinese all you can eat places have died and as a result do have the takeouts! So I returned here today TK give it a shot and herd are the takeaways. 1. Prices are now double what they were. That means 25% increase yearly since COVID started. 2. Double the price half the quality. The chicken Soo Guy had a chicken piece the thickness of 2 quarters and a batter of 4 quarters. This is about 20% of the chicken that they used before COVID. I always order from here and there’s always a problem. This time was my last stand. I found I very dark hair in my food as I am a blonde :). Just please be more aware and vigilant
I ordered General Tao and Shanghai noodles, and they were delicious. The meal was ready very quickly, and I was eating my hot food within 25 minutes of walking in, ordering and walking home. They aren't offering a dine-in option post-covid, but the food is really good. Spicy general tao, savoury shanghai noodles.

I have been ordering since before they moved to Wellington in Verdun. Although food was good, delivery was terrible. After delivery ( 1 hour + usual time ) delivered 1/2 of order took another 45 mins to get in touch with driver to get other half of order. We did not enjoy our dinner tonight. Paid 46$ + tip over 50 total
I ordered the combo G for 2 people for about 35$. The food was pretty good, it reminded me of the Chinese buffets I went to as a kid. We had a lot of leftovers, the order was eaten in approximately 4 meals total. The spareribs were fairly good, a little bit dry but dipping them in the sauce makes it better. Chow mein was nice, a lot of bean sprouts with a low profile sauce. Pineapple chicken had a big layer of breading, but I liked it, sweet sauce as well. Underwhelming experience, do not recommend this place The food was simply not tasty at all. It felt like it was deep fried in rancid oil. I had dry wong ton, pineapple chicken, and eggroll. The wong ton and eggroll were fine, the chicken was horrible. The sauces that came with food were too sweet and tasted nothing but sugar. The price was very cheap though, the only good thing about this place.
La maison egg roll is our favourite place for chinese food take out. For 30$ you have a table full of goodies. The egg rolls are delicious and they have these big chicken wings that are to die for. The food is good especially considering the quantity you get for the price! Dont know what to try in Verdun for some comfort chinese food this place is the best.
