This Google location is not a store, but just being there at Pier 57 on the Hudson River is cool & adds to the overall vibe.
If you don’t sit here, and you’re not here for some event, this office is barely worth visiting. The views are ok, but the building is basically entirely presentation space for external people.

I’ve been to several Google offices around the world and this office has a very unique design. It has a bird’s eye view of nyc projected onto the floor (I believe it’s only on for events) and a walkway over a commercial barista/restaurant that I’ve never seen anywhere else. This office is mainly meant to host events and customers, so it’s made to impress. Security will also kick you out of the beautiful event areas but you can still take a quick look and get some photos. The park on the roof offers a nice view of the skyline and nearby Little Island. The food is much better at the nearby 9th…

I got to visit the Google NYC office for a Chrome event, and I’m honestly a little jealous I don’t get to work there full time! They have a great office both for location and layout. Definitely hope I get the chance to visit again in the future. 😁 Shout out to the physical security team who had the visitor experience working like a well-oiled machine.
