  • The extra costs here add up fast. I watched my bill increase from $1,649.00 to $1,800.44 due to added fees and 'insurance violations' that seem to appear out of nowhere if you aren't constantly monitoring your billing. When you have a question, they respond with, 'Did you read your lease?' and dismiss you as if you’ve done something wrong. This place is becoming overpriced and greedy. I still have no idea what the 'service fee' and 'Rent Plus' charges are; it is still a mystery at this point. A mortgage or a whole-house rental would be cheaper and more logical than a 700-square-foot box.
  • Aurora is a very quiet community. It's perfect for those who want a great location, peace, and security. The apartments are of excellent quality. Pamela and Rachel in the leasing office provide exceptional service, and the maintenance team is always helpful and committed. It's a family-friendly and welcoming environment. I love living here and have already made good friends.
  • Well, they asked me for feedback on my touring experience so here it goes. I came from out of town to tour this community and others around central Florida. So you can imagine my frustration when I arrived after sitting in parking lot level traffic on Colonial Dr for an additional 20 mins after getting off I-4 to tour this place and then be intercepted by a temp who by her own admission hardly knew anything about the community. The only explanation she had for why it was her giving me the tour and not the actual people who work there is that it was a ‘last minute change.’ Huh? Why didn’t…
  • If you're reading reviews to decide whether or not to apply, I highly recommend stopping by the leasing office and speaking directly with Rachael and Pam. They are by far the nicest leasing agents I've toured with, and they’re completely honest throughout the whole process. It's important to remember that they are also human and can make occasional mistakes, but they handle everything professionally. The apartment I was shown is the same one I’ll potentially be applying for. Just ask if you can tour the actual unit before applying, and they’ll absolutely accommodate that if it’s available. I…

  • I’ve lived at Aurora on the Trail for two years and enjoyed my experience so much that I decided to move into a larger one-bedroom unit. Unfortunately, this recent move-in process wasn’t as smooth as it was when I first moved in. My assigned parking spot was accidentally given away, but after contacting the office, it was corrected. I also had to call and email multiple times to receive my welcome letter and updated rent amount, which I didn’t get until several days later—even though my move-in date was approaching. On the day of move-in, my lease still hadn’t been sent to me, so I had to…
  • The Good 1. The facilities and amenities are fantastic. The clubhouse is a great space, though a few pieces of furniture could use some attention. 2. Staff have been friendly in person. 3. Elevators are a big plus and make day-to-day living easier. Needs Improvement 1. A lightning storm took out the main security access system a couple weeks after move-in, and it’s been about a month without a full repair. This is a core safety/quality-of-life issue that deserves urgency. 2. There was a move-in special; after the promised 30 days, the offer still hasn’t been fully honored. Clear timelines and…
  • I do not recommend Aurora on the Trail. We signed our lease based on the model apartment the leasing team showed us — they never showed us the real apartment before signing. When we arrived to move in, the unit was not clean and not habitable. Over 14 days, we asked multiple times for the flooring to be fixed. On the third attempt, we saw the “repair” pictured added — mismatched planks that looked like a patch job. At that point we gave up. Other serious problems included: • Elevator was out of service from the beginning and stayed broken the entire time, making it impossible to move in • Ant…
  • UPDATE: The leak was "fixed" but the water issues came back a month later. I have reached out to management and their lack of response is astonishing. I was not compensated in any way, shape, or form. They told me to go through renters insurance for the damages and that was it. Do not recommend living here. I’m extremely disappointed with living here. There has been a severe leak that began on May 8, 2025—and still remains not fixed as of today. Despite multiple reports to the front office, the issue has been unresolved for over two weeks, causing extensive damage to my personal belongings…
