It’s perfect for a basic Marriott! Great hotel. Very clean and good service. Starbucks on site. Good bar. No convenience items area/shop that many Marriott's have. Bottled water had to be brought by room service instead of purchasing it at the frost desk.
I reserved this hotel for a weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday (late december 2025). The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location, which is walkable to many of the top notch, restaurants, and bars in the uptown Dallas area. The room was clean and odor free, and the bed was very comfortable, and the linens were soft and inviting. The bathroom was ample size and shower had great water pressure. Kathy at the M Club during breakfast on New Year’s Day was absolutely outstanding. The entire restaurant was completely packed, yet she remained calm, professional, and genuinely attentive to every guest. She went out of her way to personally check on everyone, making sure no one felt overlooked despite the rush. What truly impressed me was her kindness and initiative — even when items were running low, she made the effort to find extra eggs for guests, including myself. We arrived for only one night for an engagement party. We initially checked in, quickly left and arrived back at the hotel around 10:30pm. I then took a shower. Once I stepped in the shower I noticed several long, dark hairs hanging from the soap/washcloth dish (definitely not mine). At that point while not pleased, I decided to use the shower gel provided instead and just not touch that area. As I was showering, I noticed the same long, dark hairs along the shower wall. Honest disclaimer: as a Director of Front Office for a JW Marriott, I’m a stickler for certain things when I travel. Staff service and cleanliness are always my top two priorities and Marriott Dallas Uptown is doing exceptionally well with both. Jasmine was very pleasant at check-in. Even when a guest began giving her a hard time because he couldn’t print something, she and Cody handled the situation with absolute grace and professionalism. I truly couldn't say more good things about our stay here, from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with each interaction. Room service was awesome and reasonable. The good graces restaurant was delicious for all meals. The pool was perfect, everything was clean. Wouldn't think twice before recommending this to someone, allowed us to really relax. Also decor and architecture was a plus as well. Thank you marriot team we will be back!
The 5th floor outdoor rooftop pool was warm enough in November and large enough to swim laps. The room desk was barely large enough for a laptop. Very nice employees. $22 for a glass of wine at the bar. Nice M Club breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. I found free parking on the street two blocks away. If your room faces north you can watch planes take off and land at Love field.
I recently stayed at this Marriott Dallas Uptown and it was a great experience; especially for the price. The location couldn’t be better. It was close to great local restaurants, shopping and the AT&T stadium; yet tucked away to feel quaint and relaxing.||The staff were friendly and professional and made sure that I had everything I needed.
