Never in my life have I been so grateful to NOT live somewhere. We didn’t even finish our full year at Link OC because of how awful our experience was. During our first week there, we were woken up at 2AM to the fire alarms, an event we didn’t realize at the time would become a regular occurrence. We were threatened with fines for rules management would make up on the fly, and then when you’d ask for proof in the lease agreement they’d all of a sudden drop the charges. When I first moved in, I really liked this apartment. Everything was new and well-maintained, and the experience was great. However, as more residents moved in, the overall quality of living has gone downhill significantly. The community cleanliness has declined — hallways, stairwells, and the mailroom often look dirty. The trash room is a constant mess because some residents can’t seem to follow the posted instructions, leaving trash bags broken and scattered on the floor. The trash chute has been broken for months now. Management posted a sign making us go up or down to thow our trash away…
Unfortunately, I am going to leave an honest review. My year lease just ended and I will say the staff (except Judy) have been extremely pleasant. I agree with all the other reviews left for this apartment. it’s cheaply made, they do have what seems like “made-up rules”, and it’s far from “luxury”. As people begin to move in, it seemed to get more dirty, especially in the trash rooms. Residents wouldn’t even make attempts to put trash inside the chute, but the cleaners would do a great job at cleaning up after grown adults. I stopped by Link OC Apartments recently and was super impressed! The place is gorgeous — really clean, modern, and well taken care of. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, it honestly felt like they love what they do. If you’re looking for a new place, definitely check this one out!

I wanted to wait to give my review to see how things get from being a brand new apartment complex. We were amongst the first to move in back in October. Here’s some things that suck: 1. Not worth the $3000+. The cabinet paint has came off of 8 of our cabinets and cheap paint on the walls that come off easily. 2. Fire alarm goes off randomly, has happened 6 times since we been here. Couple times during the middle of the night. 3. Make up rules that were not on the lease regarding the EV chargers, and randomly start enforcing made up rules. Moved-in to the new building about a month ago and the experience so far has been stellar. The front desk are very welcoming and receptive to ensuring that the needs of the tenant are met in a swift and quality matter. The rockstars are the entire maintenance staff, they all deserve commendations for their professionalism and genuine interest in ensuring all our needs are met. Even in the after-hours, they handle matters in a prompt matter. Special shoutout to Kevin from the maintenance staff for his assistance throughout the month.
I’ve had such a great experience with both the leasing office and the apartment community overall! From the very beginning, the leasing team has been friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive. They made the move-in process smooth and stress-free, answering all my questions and going out of their way to ensure everything was ready when I arrived.
