Very basic extended stay. Floor was very dirty, hadn’t been mopped in a long time. Bed was like a camper mattress. Coffee wasn’t always available. Room had a smell. Not strong but a smell.
Very basic hotel. No perks! My room was cleaned once in a month long stay and I had to beg for that! I had to take out my trash, buy my own toilet paper, plates, cups, etc. Staff was friendly but never seemed to have answers to questions. Key cards had to be re-keyed multiple times. Location is next to a very busy WAWA. Lots of cars coming and going at all hours.
Positive: Location Negative: Yes- I paid for a king but needed a bottom floor because my daughter is special needs and they charged me an upgrade fee but gave me a queen bed.
My fiancé and daughter and I came here on business and chose this location because it was on the cheaper side, 8 minutes from his job and he had a long work assignment here. The good - It’s a great location right in the middle of Orlando and Daytona Beach so we had easy access to both. Wawa is right next door, Outback is on the other side of the parking lot and more very close. It’s cheap. It has all one needs in an extended stay; beds, fridge, microwave, stove, and dishwasher also. The bad - The building has this strong pungent smell I can’t describe. Stay Nov 24-25 Room 315, Had to sign (4) pages of documents upon check in. Hotel is people living in Hotel, Dogs every where and barking all night. ( In Room) Pet Hair covered the 2ND Bed Cover, Floor was dirty. I was to tired from the trip to complain @ front desk. My 100 deposit Room charge was never returned to my credit card. I had to call the front desk ask why. The why turned out to be It was never processed to be returned. Finally 2, Dec 2025 it was. Wonder how many people never check to verify the return. I say " NO " Stay but Stay Away from here.
This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Woodspring Suites. I checked in today because I will be staying at least 2 weeks. Kai was absolutely amazing. And the general manager, Todd, is a great guy. I have been sleeping in my vehicle with my dog since August, so they are familiar with what I'm dealing with. Todd and Kai treated me with nothing but absolute respect and compassion. If you decide to stay, I can't thank them enough for all of their understanding. Not once did they make me feel looked down upon. I appreciate that.
I accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay and reached out to Booking.com, but they were completely unhelpful. Thankfully, I got in touch with Kai at the front desk, and she was amazing. Even though the change ultimately had to be handled through Booking.com and her options were limited, she went above and beyond to help me. She spent so much time working with me and guiding me through the process, and her kindness and professionalism really stood out. Kai turned a stressful situation into a positive one, and I’m very grateful for her. She is truly an asset to this hotel!
Would never stay there again. People hanging out on side of hotel with ski masks. I was checked in the forth floor. Both, my wife and myself are handicapped. The second day the elevator broke and had to use the stairs to come down with all the suitcases. I asked for help to bring my suitcases down, even willing to pay and they advised me they did not have anyone available. The hotel atmosphere looked rough to me. Feel free to book to this place at your own risk. As of today I have not been refunded from booking for checking out for not having a working elevator.
