Wingate by Wyndham Bronx/Haven Park

I was asked to take down my last review but this time I won't. This hotel has declined over the year . The need to clean the HVAC as its extremely dirty and irritated my allergies my whole stay. It was no heat during my stay barely hot water that had run over 5 mins and it gets warm. It was freezing and no heat was offered a space heater but I found that to be dangerous. The breakfast is just muffins and hard waffles no sausage no egg nothing just a bunch or bread . The shade in the rooms had stains of i dont know what. The hotel is very comfortable, and offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff was attentive and professional at all times. I would especially like to recognize the manager, Tommy, for his kindness and cordiality throughout the entire stay. I recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Booked here because of the reviews. Received multiple communications, confirming our reservation and the availability of parking for our car, and that the parking was valet. Communicated several times that we'd be there after midnight. Upon arrival, we were told there's no valet parking between 12 AM and 6 AM. However, the security guard was kind enough to go with us to the garage to park our car. We were not told ahead of time how much value parking would cost, but ended up paying $35 a day to park at the hotel. I found this hotel on a third party app because it was affordable and convenient for a work trip I took at the end of January. It was so fun and inviting from the moment we walked in! The stairs leading to the front entrance were pretty steep for my grandma , either way we went, but security sat by the door , ensuring that she’d be taken care of if she were to fall while me and my sister were away. Thank you , Joselie (I hope I spelt your name right!) for being patient with us , and handling all of our needs when extending a day stay because of the snow storm!
