Stayed at the campsite part, north field to be exact. Good but limited facilities but I never queued to use them during our term time stay. If you have any questions they are very happy to answer them over the phone before booking. Once there, the staff were very accommodating.

If a functionable is what you looking for than this is perfect. Two toilet, two sink, one shower (perfect pressure and super hot) and place to wash up your pots. Staff ever so helpful, honestly they couldn't do more if they tried. Clean place, grass kept at nice length, pitches more or less flat, beautiful walks around, I mean seriously cheap but does the job great. If anything I would say that there's no disabled shower in disabled toilets and despite there being a space, there's no shelving or bench in ladies toilet to put your bits and pieces especially when showering with small children.…

This was a treat from the moment we arrived a nice welcome from Simon. We were guided to lovely peaceful and clean well cared for pitch . Clean facilities easy access to the local shop on foot . Fantastic fishing and fairly price bait shop . On leaving we have had a freshly cooked fried breakfast with great service at Cottonggon lakes cafe and then merrily on Our way . Thank you we will be back 11/10

Loved this campsite. Very quiet. Only observation was that some dog owners didn't care and watch their dogs running loose and pooped on the pitches.

Had a fantastic first visit here on the Match lake. Went with my step-son, he is 12 and this was 4th time fishing, he had an incredible day landing a 6 1/2lb Common, an 8lb Common and a whopping 11lb Mirror! Outside of that, we had a number of Common and Mirror in the 2lb to 5lb bracket. Very private and secure facility, great tackle shop and great cafe. Will definitely return.

We stayed on the C.L. Caravan & Motorhome Club Site you have to be a Club member. This is a separate field from the Cottington Lakes campsite and has 5 pitches four with electric hook up. If you haven't a fishing licence you aren't allowed access to the surrounding lakes. It would have been nice to have a walk around the lakes, but this didn't distract from our stay as the location of the field was very pleasant. It's worth noting that there is only one EHU barnacle with four plugs, which if you haven't a 25m lead could have you very close to other units; you can hire an extension lead for a…

Enjoying my return to fishing after 40+ years. Nice, pretty lakes, fish are plentiful but not jumping out for you. You have to work. Good, well priced bait & tackle. Not tried the cafe yet but will be going back to enjoy the sport.
