Why do the trades hired by this builder think it’s acceptable to work at any hour? There’s currently someone working on the exterior of the home across from me — at 4 a.m., making all kinds of noise. These are the trades you hire? If they have this little respect for others, I can only imagine the quality of their work.
My husband and i are very thankful for Doug’s guidance during our whole purchasing process. He has provided us invaluable insight and advice that made our process easier. We are very happy with the outcome of our new home.
UPDATE: As of May 2025, the wonky wall has been fixed, lightbulb was replaced, and powder room ceiling has been completely redone 👍🏼 other large fixes (exterior, windows/patio door etc) still pending. We also discovered a gas leak from the fireplace last month, this had likely been an issue from installation (scary) according to the tech who fixed it. It was handled promptly, but very unsettled by what could have happened as we have a gas stovetop in the vicinity as well. Doug is one of the most arrogant and rude person one can ever meet. Unfortunately he was the sales manager and he never provided any information about the upgrades and when asked for one he would say no with a straight face. We had the worst experience with him and sadly he is still the sales manager inspire of providing an honest feedback about him.

A big selection of front garage houses. Nice floor plans ! Good professional team at presentation centre!!! I like to say a couple good words about Doug, sales manager! He helped us a lot with lot and house plan selection! We are so happy now with what we got!!! Also a big thank you to Jon warranty manager! He took good care about warranty work for our house. Always on time, on top of things that needs to be done!!!
We recently moved into our new house by Baywest. We loved our new house only few things needs to be done. Doug helped us alot for every single thing and gave us very good deal for the front grage house. He always quick response and willing to help.
We are currently building with Baywest, and our experience thus far has been outstanding. Our last house was custom built, so we have a general understanding about the process, but we weren’t sure what to expect from a larger builder. Doug has been invaluable to us, and Baywest needs to recognize how much of an asset he is. I have an extraordinarily picky taste, and they have been more than accommodating.. from changing floorplans to last minute change orders.. Can’t wait to see the final product!
The worse experience ever! After unexpected delay of 3 months, even though the sales manager was giving a promise to release a key by Christmas my circumstances have changed drastically and I couldn’t obtain a mortgage so the company start accruing crazy interest for not closing the deal and start literally stealing money from me! They made a mistake on interest accrued (so yes, I ended up getting money from private loaner at huge rate!). Doug promised to include railings on stairs-never happened! He changed his attitude immediately when realizing I had issues closing the sale. Very rude and…
