Super new development in an up and coming district. Very well connected.
An extremely IRRESPONSIBLE and RUBBISH developer. I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with my experience dealing with Mount Anvil. To begin with, within three months of moving into my new home, I experienced a significant water leak that flooded my entire flat. Despite the severity of the situation, the response from Mount Anvil was utterly inadequate. Instead of taking responsibility for their poor workmanship and lack of quality control, they attempted to deflect blame and even resorted to dishonesty. Nice open space with two kids play areas and lots of sitting areas and green space around the large tower blocks.
I moved into the Silk District in November on shared ownership and had a number of issues with my front door lock not working and hot water. Proving I met the affordability requirements was quite hard initially, and then after I met these and I bought they increased service fees by 20% within 5 months of moving in, despite not indicating this extreme increase was a possibility within the contract. When I questioned why this had been done given no extra 'services' were provided I received no response from management. I would advise thinking seriously about this if planning on going through…

I cannot recommend this development enough. Close to the tube, eateries and facilities. Solution-oriented concierge. Excellent gym. I live in a flat in the Georgette Apartments. It has a lovely open view.
I have been renting a flat in this excellent development for over a year now and am enjoying it thoroughly. Conveniently located (right next to the Whitechapel Elizabeth Line station and Overground station). Concierge is very helpful. Great facilities. It is close to many trendy cafes and restaurants and many more opening! I would highly recommend it!
Great concierge team, responsive management. Update: Slightly messy living on a work site as construction on the other blocks continue but management and concierge continue to be timely with relevant information and troubleshooting
We have been involved with this project since it first started. The site management team have been exceptional in their care and consideration for their workforce as well as their surrounding neighbours. They were quick to establish a covid marshaling scheme and social distancing in all their offices, welfare and leisure areas as well as regular testing of their workforce. We have found all of their site management team to be approachable and open to discuss any issues highlighted by site personnel or members of the public and their approach to Health and safety is second to none.
