This is an awesome community. Wish the lots were bigger, but awesome nonetheless.
Martin Lane were magnificent! Thoroughly enjoyed them! The crowd response was awesome!
Beautiful property and lots of events to attend! 2025 Pumpkin Patch was awesome with a variety of vendors.
We visit family that lives here, this is a great place to live, they have built up so much, brewery, a general store, outdoor screen for movies nights entertainment, gym, pools playground school a variety of house to select from, camper storage (fee) so many options and friendly community

HOA is ridiculous. They change their rules every month. Right now it’s a fine for if a vehicle in your driveway touches the sidewalk. We have a 4 car driveway with 2 trucks, a Ford Explorer, a sedan and a curve to it on the bottom so it’s practically impossible to not touch the sidewalk. They take cookie cutter neighborhood to an extremity. We had 5 cars and no room because you get a ticket if you park on the street overnight so we got a pass to park up at the pool. One random day they changed their mind and gave us a weekend to figure out what to do with the extra vehicle before we got fined
We have lived here for a month now, and we love it. With all of the amenities, the trails, and all of the activities, it was a no brainer. The drive is a little longer to south walton, but the drive goes fast.
Considered moving there until I talked with family and neighbors. The HOA is the single biggest reason we did not buy. I witnessed first hand their rude arrogance. Too bad this nice development with so many great amenities has such terrible management. A fools paradise! We pass.
Hammock Bay may look good on paper but it is a terrible place to live. The HOA is terrible. Rude and spiteful and your money will never go into repairs or anything it is meant for. Everything is fabricated and fake and all negative comments or reviews from people WHO ACTUALLY LIVE THERE (!!!!!) are removed and controlled to protect certain people's incomes (HOA/realtors/developer). No one actually CARES about the residents and what they want or need or their experiences living in Hammock Bay. It is all about money, nothing else.
