  • I think it’s shameful that you have an old employee in this cold putting carts away. As an employer, you should have more respect for your employees. People should be more than capable of putting away their carts away. Shameful. Do better
  • Living in Massachusetts hasn’t stopped my family from making a trip to New York every 2–3 months, and Apna Bazaar in Hicksville is always at the top of our list. We come to enjoy great Indian food and stock up on groceries, and this location is absolutely worth the drive. The prices are very reasonable—easily 30–40% cheaper not only compared to stores in MA, but even compared to other local stores in Hicksville. The huge inventory, quality products, and excellent customer service make shopping here a great experience every time. We’re able to buy enough groceries to last a couple of months,…
  • 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Culinary Treasure in Hicksville! Worth the Trip from NYC for the Value! I visit the Apna Bazar in Hicksville (217 Bethpage Rd) occasionally just to stock up, and it consistently provides a top-tier shopping experience. This is more than just a grocery store—it's a vibrant hub for authentic South Asian ingredients that truly feels like a taste of home. What makes it exceptional: Exceptional Value: The combination of top quality for a great price is what sets this location apart. I often travel here from NYC specifically to stock up because the prices are literally fractions of what I…
  • I’ve been shopping at Apna Bazaar for the past eight years, and I can confidently say it is one of the best desi grocery stores around. The staff here are always incredibly friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful, whether you’re inside the store or even out in the parking lot. They keep the place clean, organized, and fully stocked with almost every desi item you could possibly need. One experience in particular showed me just how trustworthy and caring the people at Apna Bazaar are. During a recent grocery trip, I lost my wallet, and I was frantic searching everywhere. The staff not only…

  • Prices are fine and they have everything but the bottom of my shoe is cleaner. There is never more than one person working and they hate you for asking a question or trying to pay for your groceries. I think it would feel better and more efficient to walk directly into traffic than to walk in here again.
  • Great variety of South Asian foods, friendly & cooperative staff, affordable prices and large range of products availability. The place is geographically located in the heart of Nassau County in Hicksville, location and offers large parking yard and convenient shopping atmosphere. Apna Bazar also offers great Halal meat selection along with fresh Marinated meats and frozen meats Store Manager Yasin Ansari / Bobby is very helpful and cooperative. Store needs an uplift in the infrastructure to provide better experience and competitive edge.
  • Apna Bazzar is a true gem for those in search of Desi Indian and Pakistani items. It's a one-stop destination where you can find a remarkable variety of authentic products, from spices to clothing. The store's diverse inventory ensures you'll discover everything you need to embrace the flavors and culture of the subcontinent. A delightful shopping experience for anyone seeking a taste of home or a vibrant cultural connection.
  • Fresh produce at an economical price . I don’t use Indian or south Asian products much . I came in usually only trying to find something fresh . I could always find the veggies/fruits I need and explore something new . Many south Asian supermarkets smell like some strong incense, but not this APNA. Comfortable shopping environment.
