We had a great stay at The Clan Hotel Singapore. The staff was amazing and truly welcoming as well as great ambassadors of Asian hospitality. The rooms are well decorated however they can be a bit small. The hotel bar was closed and the only option was to sit by the kitchen counter to have a drink which is a shame for a 5 star hotel. On arrival our room was not yet ready as we arrived early but we were offered the shower facilities which was very much appreciated. A small detail that made our welcoming a positive experience. Fantastic stay, beautiful accommodation, facilities and staff. Stayed for my honeymoon with my husband and was treated with incredible kindness and excitement for our marriage. Great location. Pool a little cold but hot spa very much made up for it.
This hotel has a great location close by to an MRT station which I think is a must in Singapore. Unfortunately the hotel disappointed us for several reasons 1- the pool is extremely tiny and only has a few beds, you have to book a slot. This is not what I expect to do on my holidays. 2-The breakfast situation is an absolute nightmare. Too many tables are squashed in and people are pushing past you all the time you can’t get to the breakfast buffet without nudging or knocking a waitress walking by. We really enjoyed our stay at The Clan Hotel overall. The room was very spacious, beautifully designed, and offered a fantastic view over Chinatown. The bathroom was well equipped with both a lovely bathtub and a separate shower, which we appreciated a lot. A very nice touch was the fresh tea provided daily for brewing in the room. On the first day, snacks and drinks were offered free of charge, which made us feel very welcome. Apart from a minor cleanliness issue at the toilet, the room was well cleaned and well maintained. Had the most wonderful time at The Clan Hotel, Singapore. The location is perfect for exploring iconic spots, with the MRT right at the doorstep. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. We were especially well looked after by the wonderful Zyanna, who made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay and was the most hospitable host (and tea master!). She even left us a little surprise gift, which we really appreciated 🙂 The vibe of the hotel is super cool, and the teas are amazing - I highly recommend the tea ceremony. The rooftop pool was absolutely amazing, just as I had heard. From the location and atmosphere to cleanliness and service, there was really nothing to complain about.I have stayed at many hotels around the world, and in terms of friendliness and hospitality, this hotel easily ranks among the top. It was my first time staying at a Singapore local hotel chain, and it turned out to be an incredibly satisfying and impressive experience. I was also lucky to book it at a great price, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit to Singapore. :)
