  • I’m not one to give a negative review often, but Aniko has definitely earnt this one. Purchased our property back in April 2025 and in 5 months we were issued almost $1300 worth of gas/hot water bills. The provider even said how outrageous these were and after days of finding what it could be, we discovered that the water supply was reversed for our washing machine (blue hot/red cold). For 1 hour plus it was purely using hot water only since our machine is only a 1 water hose supply. After trying to seek assistance with Aniko as this is an installation fault and a potential hazard, they said…
  • Communication has been difficult, particularly with Janette, who has come across unfriendly. More seriously, keys were given to tradespeople who entered my apartment without permission, which was very unsettling. Unfortunately, I haven’t received any apology or acknowledgment of this issue. I hope the management team takes steps to improve their professionalism and respect for tenants’ privacy.
  • Buyer beware, that's all I have to say! I Have just moved into the Hope Island site, after a pre-settlement inspection, there was a raft of issues with my unit and it also appears to have been the same case with several others in the building that there were faults that needed to be rectified. We were advised to report them and they would get around to them ASAP. that was just lip service apparently as after I asked for feedback info when it would get looked at the lovely building manager said to me "Read your contract, we have 12 months to complete any flaws " Wow, is this the way they…
  • Don't rent, when you move out 35 pages exit report and 250 photos. Had a professional clean and they are disputing my bond. Trying to charge me $352 for carpet cleaning 2 bedrooms. Lived there for 13months on my own most of the time. 76 year old pensioner. Left the place spotless. Underground parking disgusting with concrete dust-silica all over the cars ruining the car duco.

  • Really disappointed. We were told September occupancy and now over Christmas we are still hanging in the balance not knowing if we will be in before Christmas. Complete lack of human regard. A slight discrepancy between anticipated completion and actual completion is to be expected but 4 months difference means a complete lack of planning. At this point we will be homeless as of Dec 20 if we aren’t moved in by then. This after having moved 3 times in the duration of us waiting for an occupancy date AND wasting 20-30k on short term rentals in the interim. I would advise should aniko add…
  • The property managers at the Athena residences are extremely rude, especially Janet. Expect to be treated with absolutely no respect if you are looking to rent here. The parking is a joke too.
  • I’m so glad that I am rid of the Aniko group having just sold my apartment at Grant Avenue. Was there for 2.5 years and multiple emails about defects were ignored by the companies project manager. I was even accused of saying things I never said. They lock you into sub par internet and electricity contracts, so they can instal services cheaply, and called a liar when you question. George would hide behind his staff, when he holds onto body corporate for 18months. Then tries to put through defect costs on the Body Corporate, when it should be paid for by Aniko. Body Corporate rates rose…
