Beautiful property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nectar and Nori were our favorites for dinner. Room service was fast. Pool and beach were both great. Topgolf suite was fun. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do while visiting PR: El Yunque Rainforest and Luquillo Beach/Kiosks ~20 min, Bio Bay Kayaking tour in Fajardo ~45 min, Old San Juan ~45 min.
My recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico was absolutely perfect from check-in to checkout. The property is thriving under strong leadership—there have been so many noticeable upgrades and improvements that make it feel even more special. The new Globalist check-in room is a fantastic touch; it made arrival feel welcoming and exclusive right away. The landscaping is stunning—especially the island in the pool area and throughout the entire grounds. Everything looks meticulously cared for and beautifully enhanced. Service was truly exceptional, easily among the best I’ve…
One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve been to ever. The location is amazing. The facilities and grounds are very lush and luxurious and maintained at highest standard! Food is really good. Quite expensive but worth the money! One tip I didn’t see anywhere around late checkout. You can use the facilities the entire day of checkout. To freshen up before leaving - check with the front desk on your checkout morning. If the room is not booked they will likely allow you to stay for $25 per each extra hour. If the room is booked, or you don’t want to pay extra, they have a “hospitality room” for…
First time staying here and I was very disappointed. The resort only opens 2 of the restaurants per night. So options can be limited. The food is so subpar it may be worse than Applebees with a $$$ price. The wait staff are not attentive or really all that interested. As for the resort, website and booking agencies list this resort as having a hot tub and sauna. You can only use both items at the spa for $40 per 30 Mins. That’s right not a single pool area has a hot tub but they do have what appears to be a hot tub in the pool but it’s just a half circle seating area with jets that push cold…

The resort is definitely large and luxurious. The rooms are clean and there is multiple dining options. We enjoyed grabbing quick bites at the market. I do recommend dining at NORI and NECTAR. The resort has a private beach and beautiful pools but is very far away from any activities requiring a car or a rental transportation. DO NOT USE THE HOTEL CONSIERGE FOR TOURS, they are significantly overpriced (adding$100 per tour for "transport") book your tours directly with the tour company.
This is a truly beautiful and luxurious resort. The property is expansive, with a huge pool and a seemingly never ending beach that makes it easy to fully relax and disconnect. Everything is set against lush tropical landscaping, and the ocean breeze and views really add to the experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the hospitality was excellent from start to finish. Anytime we needed something, a quick call to the front desk and they handled it right away. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. The…
Positive: The staff aka family is great. They all had smiles and were happy to help very professional the entire week we were there. The hotel is amazing extremely clean and very safe. Negative: ""
Holidays Hyatt Puerto Rico?! NO THANKSIt was supposed to be my only summer vacation, but it disappointed my expectations with my family.Although it is cataloged 5 stars, it is worth a maximum of 4 as the expectations were high imagining a high target, instead Americans mostly with a hit and run tourism of 2/3 days at most low level, the main cause of the very high costs and the many taxes paid at check-in as a non-American resident. The resort shows all its years (construction period 80s/90s) and is not an elegant structure. Do not book through TRIP.COM despite offering low, interacts with…
