2 stars for convenience, but cheap facilities, poor design, subpar and often apathetic management, overpriced and even predatory ($75 locked out fee, no 2nd fob available for purchase, keeping deposits). I think the reviews so far speak for themselves. TLDR: live at MAA instead.
I have to echo everyone’s reviews: DO NOT LIVE HERE. This was a rushed build, and you can see throughout the apartment where corners were cut on construction. The materials are cheap, with no thought put into livability. I lived in the studio, and there wasn’t even a single drawer in the kitchen. The bathroom fan never turns off, the windows don’t open, there are no lids on the toilet seats, and the closets aren’t even wide enough to fit hangers. There is no guest parking, and at one point pipes in the garage collapsed onto the cars on the first floor. There was also a week when the alarm…
Students Beware: You Will Lose Money Here If you graduate earlier than the lease date, you will end up losing money because the management do not provide any support in finding a replacement (although they initially promise support but they do not when the time comes). The lease term is not flexible and impacts students who go for internships or graduate before the lease term ends. And even if you manage to find a replacement yourself, the management makes it very difficult to transfer the lease with unnecessary rules. The fire alarm system is not reliable. It activates at random times, and…
The one star is solely for staff. Other than that, this place has too much red tape. I lived in a studio A with a beautiful view looking over Ridgewood Drive. Pros: brand new amenities- washer/dryer, dishwasher. New gym equipment (cardio only). Nice to live in a student community. Front desk staff are outstanding. Personally never had issues with maintenance not handling requests. Super close to campus buildings and all Emory shuttle lines. Cons: Studio feels a little small; and the A layout isn't ideal given the way the bed and kitchen are situated. Windows don't open which sucks but there…

The pros: it’s always quiet in my corner aside from the occasional group of rude people who decide to laugh and talk loudly in the hallway. It’s close to a shuttle stop so you can get to all buildings on campus easily. It’s furnished and the building is brand new. The parking deck is right next to the building. It’s never full. Utilities are included. The cons: We have not been able to use the courtyard/grill area all year. The windows don’t open. They could come down on the price for parking if you ask me. If we were paying for a parking pass, it’s just mean to have us switch to paying…
Emails often go unanswered, and maintenance issues usually remain unresolved even after staff have supposedly addressed them. Late fees emails are sent to you despite being on autopay, and management provides no explanation even after multiple emails. The kitchen storage in the studio apartments is extremely limited, with no room for cutlery or pantry items. Although this is meant to be a pet-free property, pets are regularly seen on-site and pet owners take no responsibility cleaning up after their pets. The shuttle stops for CCTMA and EDH are in such awkward, unsafe spots. I’ve seen students…
electricity always cuts and goes in and out, walls are peeling, windows don’t open, i didn’t have hot water for 6 months and i was showering at school despite putting in multiple service requests. the floor is lifting (i have put in a service request, still no answer), gym only has cardio, packages and food deliveries always get stolen. i have access to someone else’s deliveries through their mail system ParcelPending and i don’t know why. you also get charged $50 if you get locked out, even though staff lives on site. you can find a better place to live for the price they charge. and they…
I cannot stress this enough: do not live here. The only advantage this complex offers is its location near campus. Beyond that, it has been the most frustrating, unsafe, and poorly managed living experience I’ve had. This is not just about minor issues — the problems are systemic and significant. Unsafe, Poorly Built, and Not Secure The building is not secure. Exterior doors are often left open or broken, and individuals who do not live here can enter freely at any time. Package and food theft is common. The package locker system is unreliable, and delivery people frequently leave items…
