We didn’t originally plan to come to Burrel but ended up making an overnight stop on our way south. There’s a lot of history in this area and this museum provides an engaging window on to it. There is no English interpretation so use Google Translate camera. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The opening hours are not publicised very clearly but according to the supervisor are 9am - 11am weekdays. So if you have a morning in Burrel, give it a go.
