I went yesterday for viewing, the apartments are lovely! There were many people for the viewing and that's a bit discouraging but Rachel was lovely and always positive. Hope I am lucky and get the chance to live here
Well built new apartments & its atmosphere are well maintained & super. Having vast play area for kids. Waste management is good and having separate bin store for each buildings on the underground floor. House keeping cleaning lady is doing her duty exceptionally over lifts and all concern areas.
Newly built houses with nice interiors. However there is a persistent water shortage issue and sometimes electricity is cut off as well. The management doesn't seem to care about providing a permanent fix for this.
Living there for 6 months already and we are so happy by the high standard management and service. We feel like in hotel. The management team is so reactive for any issue reported. There is 24 h security agent, we feel very safe and relax knowing there is someone in case of problem. The Appartment are so well furnished and designed. Almost no need to heat during winter as it’s very well isolated and ventilated. Very rare in Ireland with so many humidity problems.

Car parking at this development is appalling. Lots of vehicles parked on footpaths and in disabled parking bays without any enforcement from the developer.
The development is really nice and this is a lovely place to live. Unfortunately the parking is totally out of hand and there are cars parked all over the road, blocking footpaths, blocking access to the canal and blocking emergency service access to the building. There is no enforcement and the developers are doing nothing to tackle it.
I had a viewing last week. The place is stunning,apartaments are well designed for any age. I will be happy to be selected to live there(me and my lovely 12 y old son) .What I love there,is that they are safe and with a lots of oportunities to spend your free time(gym,cinema room,study room and many more). With the other words-this is the best place where I want to live with my son.! So,fingers crossed!
Living at 8th Lock has been an incredible experience! The luxurious and functional apartments offer everything you need for comfort and style. The safe and calm neighbourhood provides peace of mind, and the abundance of amenities makes life so convenient.
