Disappointing Takeout Experience I usually enjoy this restaurant, but my most recent visit was really disappointing. Last week, I dined in and got a full, generous portion of general Tao—so I know exactly what the serving size should be. Today, I ordered the exact same item Togo and upon inspection I could see the container was heavily padded with rice and much less of the dish. To be sure, I asked for a plate so I could compare it to what I received the week before. The difference was obvious: this portion was barely half the size of my previous order. Got general Tao chicken for take out: the guy who welcomed me was really sweet, but the lady at the cash register made me feel like my existence is a nuisance. Dreadful customer service on her end. The food was really not that great, I liked the flavour of the sauce but a lot of the chicken bits were very soggy/slimy and gross texture wise, while other bits had a bit of a crunch to them and felt like they were actually cooked. Rice also didn’t feel fresh. Only good thing was the portion size (which is how it should be considering the price) And frustratingly they don’t take credit nor debit…
Big portions. Really good food, one of the best general tao and fried rice I ever had.

One of the best Asian food experiences I've had! As soon as you walk in, the aroma of the delicious food being prepared hits you. The peanut butter dumplings were the first item on the appetizers menu, and I was intrigued. I was so happy I ordered them that I got a second plate halfway through. We tried the orange beef and the chef's special fried rice, both were very good! We were three people and also ordered the General Tao Shrimp. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that it's cash-only, but the trip to the ATM is totally worth it
This place was recommended by friends. They said the food was delicious with large portions, so I was excited. The food was indeed great ! However, the hygiene was concerning: I found a piece of steel wool in my plate, and my friend had a piece of paper in his. We didn’t complain because we noticed it immediately. Also, it’s cash only, so be prepared. Maybe it’s time to start accepting card payments? The food is great for the price, but I’m unsure about the rest. I might return, but not often, unless there are improvements in other areas :)
Excellent service! Great portions! The general tao was the highlight of the meal! The salt and pepper shrimps were a bit disappointing because they used small shrimps and they were kinda "floury" as if the flour wasn't cooked enough ? It's not the salt and pepper shrimps were used to but they were alright. The noodles and vegetables were good too.
Been to this place so many times over the span of 20 or so years and it is hands down the best!!! The portions and price are amazing. We ordered 3 mains for our family of 4 and I honestly have enough food for another meal.. or two! The staff has been the same for years and they are very friendly. You gotta try it!
